If you love artichokes and garlic, you have to try these Sautéed Artichoke Hearts. Hubby absolutely loves when I make this tasty dish for him. It also disappears quickly at potlucks.
This is easily Gluten Free as long as you do not use a more processed sausage that may contain gluten. Be sure to check your label.

Sautéed Artichoke Hearts
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground Italian sausage check for gluten free, if necessary
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large white onion chopped
- 2-3 cloves of garlic minced (I actually use 4-6)
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1 pound frozen artichoke hearts I get mine at our local Trader Joe's
- fresh ground pepper to taste
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Cook sausage, onions, and frozen artichoke hearts in oil.
- When the artichokes are thawed and the sausage is cooked, add wine, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer until artichokes are tender.
