Imagine blinking awake to find your child standing over you and ready to play a game that requires a lot of thinking on your part. He says a word and you have to complete the thought or phrase. Problem is… he wants you to say the exact same thing that he is thinking of…
Now imagine that your child has Asperger’s Syndrome and he is stuck on details about video games that you do not even play yourself. Even when you come up with answers that are actually quite funny or creative, he just says the word again so that you can get it right this time.
Yep… That is how my day began.
