Garlic Vinaigrette Recipe

My hubby adapted this from a similar recipe used at a well-known Basque restaurant in northern Nevada.  I have fallen in love with it and am wanting salad A LOT more since he created this.

I find it especially yummy on a simple salad of iceberg lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, and maybe some green onions. I usually like Romaine lettuce more, but this seems to be made to go with iceberg. Very refreshing!Try it and let me know what you think.  It is SO much cheaper than buying a bottled salad dressing these days, too.

Garlic Vinaigrette

  1. 1 cup Canola oil
  2. 1 cup Apple Vinegar
  3. fresh Garlic, minced (as desired - we LOVE garlic and use about 1/3 to 1/2 of a nice-sized bulb)
  1. Whisk it all together and enjoy. I like to apply somewhat generously.
  1. Keeps nicely in the refrigerator in a tightly closed container.
